Title: Easy to use
Review: I have some neck and back issues. I find this weight easy to use. You can shake it at your speed, fast or slow. Build muscle back up. The 30 min video has a decent range of motion and will help stretch you out. It does make you sweat and a couple of the movements on the 30 min video are harder to do. It will teach you some balance and coordination as you use it, because you shake and move at the same time. You do not just sit and shake it LOL. To be effective... it has a 6 min upper body video and a 30 min video that is for total body movement. It combines shake weight moves with traditional moves. Alternating 6 min easy daily video with 30 min (3 times a week) and a walking or other activity routine would be optimal. You should also watch what you eat. Shaking a weight will not help you reach your goals alone. But I feel this is worth the money. I've seen them range btwn 15 and 20 bucks. They also have ones is various colors now. It is a useful and relatively easy tool to have for re-strengthing yourself and getting off the couch.

Title: Dont Waste Your Money
Review: I was so excited to buy the Shake Weight after seeing all those commercials, but now I see why I dont know anybody who owns this piecce of junk. I thought that it was a battery operated system that moves automatically but its not. It sucks and is made of plastic. Three words people DENISE AUSITN WORKOUT, she has several workout dvds and you can go to target or walmart or where ever and get some 5.00 weights. The only good experience was that I was received my refund very quick. But I was smart enough to buy that Denise Austin cardio workout dvd in the same order as this shakeweight and Im very pleased with it. People, once again dont waste your money on this trash.

Title: THE GREAT ISOLATOR
Review: This thing really allows you to isolate a full arm workout. It is a "Super Targeter" The ability to target each area of the arm is awesome; and you can see the muscles articulating, and slightly contracting. The work out on the DVD is nice for an all around work out for the arms; however I prefer to focus on my tricepts; & boy it's felt right away; there is no next day tension in the arms, you feel it while doing the exersize, but it is not uncomfortable; actually it feels really good. Not like being at the gym, when your are screaming, or grunting, trying to complete that last rep in pain. You go at your own pace, and whenever you want; even take it to work, and do a couple arm crunches on your brake. The hand bar seems to be the perfect girth for a man, but could be a little narrower, I have small hands.TIP: Do not hold the bar too tight, because it will shimmy, and woddle all over the place.Lightly, but securely, grip with your Thumbs, and index fingers, with the rest of your fingers wrapped around the bar just enough, so it wont slide out of your hand.Started to purchase 2 shake weights, because I know 2.5 pounds is not enough weight, for me. But what they don't clarify in the listing, is that the dumbell has 2.5 lbs. on each end. Believe me, that is plenty of weight for a satisfying workout, that will not bulk up your arms.

Title: Decent product, but there are better ways to excercise
Review: I bought this product a month okay, and have been using it pretty consistently since. The bottom line is, I like it, and I don't regret my purchase. I don't think that it is a miracle product, though. As for the pros, it is safe, affordable, and convenient to use. Also, the DVD that comes with it offers good instruction. At first you may feel a bit of a burn, but after some time, most of the excercises do feel more natural. As for the cons, I don't think that it lives up to the hype. Sure, it may offer some tonage and some improvement of muscle strength, but it really doesn't feel like a well-rounded workout. This has become my commercial break gadget--it's a great thing to squeeze in throughout the day. Real definition and health benefits, though, take more dedication than the "six minutes a day" that the product claims is all you need. When I feel like a real workout, I'll do something else. Another con is that the weight can feel really awkward for some of the one-handed excercises. Not awkward as in an "I'm not strong enough to do this" but more a "this feels weird and unbalanced in my hand."As part of an overall fitness plan, I think it serves its purpose. I don't think that this product alone will deliver perfect arms, though.

Title: Tones and tightens!
Review: Ok, I know this product looks like an obscene joke on the tv ads and I was highly skeptical about purchasing this product. However, I have to say that this product does work. It really does tone and tighten. It gets rid of that under arm jiggle and gives you some definition. It's great to use when watching tv and if you don't have time to go to the gym and use weights. It's not heavy at all and once you get used to the motion you can play around with it to target specific muscle groups. You do get a good weight workout and can feel the burn after a while. This won't replace doing weights but is a great addition for when you can't get to the gym or want to do something while watching tv. Highly recommend.

Title: didnt realize...
Review: this shake weight is powered by... YOU. I must have conveniently blocked it out of my brain while watching the infomercial. Seriously thought you turn it on and it shakes... and you used your muscles to hold it in place, thereby burning the fat. NOT SO. You shake this thing and geesus, I can barely make it to the 2 min mark. Hit my face a couple of times. And then shaking it from side to side - uh, THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. It's not that it takes up so much energy I cant do it, but i cant EVEN START to shake it from side to side (holding it like a steering wheel and shaking left to right). I'm 34b in chest, 5'3, 118lbs and workout my arms 3-4x a week. I seroiusly cannot see how a woman w/ a bigger chest can manage this little shakeweight.I kept it for 3 days, it went back. don't waste your money... weights are so much better... this thing is so tiring by the time i even complete the 1st minute, im done. those women on tv using the shake weight, must have had MAJOR practice doin it, causeits not even as close to being as ez as it looks.

Review: l'ho comprato qui perché su altri siti il prezzo era esagerato... funziona se lo usi per più di sei minuti, cioè almeno senti l'acido lattico nelle braccia.Per me è difficile seguire l'esercizio orizzontale davanti all'addome, per il resto Good!! 😉

Customers say
Customers like the functionality and workout quality of the dumbbells. They mention it provides a good workout in a short time and is great for a low-impact workout. However, some customers have reported that the weights don't move at all and the shaking motion doesn't go as smooth as it appears when you see it. They also dislike the weight and build quality. Opinions are mixed on the value for money, ease of use, and comfort.
