Title: So many good recipes!!
Review: I absolutely love this book. All of the recipes Iâve made so far have been amazing. I love how there is so much variety, but they all ingredients are still very accessible and minimal extra equipment is required besides what you most likely already have.

Title: A Lovely Cookbook!
Review: ok so preamble tldr: i bake a lot, I buy a lot of cookbooks, I'm, idk, a full on hobbyist, I guess? This cookbook slaps! I've only made two recipes so far-the double chocolate skillet cookie (great fresh, not quite as to my taste the next day), and the brown butter brownie cookies, which are *amazing*. I've skimmed through the rest of the book. So far the recipes are easy-medium difficulty (I feel like rating the difficulty of recipes is hard to do, but that's where I'd put them), and the variety is astounding. The photography and whatnot is also stunning. I also really like that (thus far anyways) the portions feel pretty reasonable too.I will note, I didn't realize there was a chapter on boozy cookies; I don't drink, so I was a little bummed to see that, but not everything is for me so w/ever (just take note of that if you're buying this for someone under 21 or someone w/ alcohol issues).

Title: Converting recipes to gluten-free
Review: I can't eat gluten, but I bought this book thinking of Christmas cookies to make for my son and husband who love gluten :-). It is a book that makes me want to make almost every recipe. Anyway, no gluten-free conversions are provided for recipes that have wheat flour...I didn't expect that the author would provide g-f flour equivalents (although Bravetart was amazing for doing that! â¤ï¸). Anyway, I just took the author's recipe for coconut lime cookies and replaced the flour by weight (yes! this wonderful author provides weights for ingredients â¤ï¸ â¤ï¸ â¤ï¸). I used King Arthur's Gluten-Free Measure for Measure Flour and also added an additional 1/4 tsp xantham gum. Then I removed one tablespoon of the K.A. G.F. flour and replaced it with one tablespoon of kinako (Roasted Soy Bean Flour). Anyway, they are absolutely delicious! I've been gluten free for ten years and find that the hardest baked good to re-create is the cookie...which is often too sandy in g-f recipes. So, so good! I will keep working through the book and update this review with my g-f experiments.Update: have also now made the peanut butter cookies from the PB&J Crème pies, which are naturally without flour and they are amazing. The best pb cookies I've ever tasted (and I ate gluten the first 33 years of my life). Just be careful not to overbake, they bake very quickly.

Title: Very good recipes, every one is a hit
Review: I love every recipe ive made from this book. however, I need to also mention that there are errors in it! At least a few recipes forget the EGGS!!! mocha chocolate cookies is one example. I caught it the first time I made them and saved them, but the second time I made this recipe, I had forgotten about the error and went ahead without eggs and didnt notice. DONT TRUST EVERYTHING IN HERE without double checking

Title: Perfect gift for the avid baker
Review: I bake often and I own a lot of cookbooks. I was extremely impressed by this book. The recipes are classics without being boring. It is also full of unusual recipes that are exceptional without being weird or off-putting. I made the Chewy Blueberry Muffin Sugar Cookies. They were delicious. The recipe was accurate and easy to follow, although a bit wordy. Both baking time and quantity made were also accurate. The book begins with a discussion about baking cookies, ingredients, tools, and equipment. Then the chapters are divided by chocolaty, boozy, fruit, nutty, tart, spiced, smoky, and savory. Iâm looking forward to making the Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars, Cashew Caramel Cookies, Chewy Coconut Lime Cookies, and Maple & Cinnamon Chocolate Moon Pies with Maple Marshmallow Creme. I think a more experienced baker will have an easier time using this cookbook than someone who is new to baking.

Review: Probably my (new) favorite cookies cooking book. There's a lot of original (in the sense those recipes go outside de cookie box) with logic and/or surprising flavours associations.I've done a lot of them already and can vouch for the quality of those cookies. I think it's really a recipe book you need to follow precisely to get the best results (I did try to adjust some ingredients and the final result were never AS good, but still pretty good). 😉
